Each National Academy years kicks off with the southern residential camp at Epsom College. This takes place over 3 days in August. 100 boys are invited to the camp at both Junior & Senior age-groups where they are able to work with some of the best players and coaches in rugby 7s.

It is an action-packed three days, boarding alongside one another at the college, with work in the classroom, on the field & in the gym, helping the squad to understand all elements that are required to be a top-level rugby sevens player.

As part of question & answer sessions, players get a chance to listen to current internationals and their experiences on the HSBC World Sevens Series and discovering the pathways they took to the top of the game.
