Playing for UR7s
Wanderers
The UR7s National Academy works with internationally acclaimed coaches as we strive to develop talented players to Rugby 7s Olympians. By giving young players a unique insight into the game of 7s as the 2020 Olympics approaches, we’re providing students with the knowledge of what it takes to play 7s at the highest level. The skills we teach are transferable to the XV a side game and to players of all sizes, positions and ages.
The program starts August annually with a residential camp hosted at stunning Epsom College. UR7s scouts and selects 100 players in both our Junior (U13-15) and Senior (16-18) groups, providing three days of deep dive insight into high performance for rugby 7s. This is taught on and off the field by our world-class coaches.
The program is built on creativity and fun, giving all involved the opportunity to express themselves in a no-pressure environment.
