UR7s has worked with some very talented players of all ages since starting the program in 2013 with a large number of boys going on to play age-grade international rugby, professionally contracted, top-level university and international 7s.
Whilst the aim of the academy is to help every player reach his potential, we recognize that this can be done a number of ways. Be it mixing rugby with academics at either Higher Education/Further Education or going on to play professionally. Every player has his own pathway and one that is specific to him.
Below is some feedback from current players who are National Academy graduates on how the being involved in the program has benefitted their development.
UR7s is dedicated to getting the most out of every player in the program and best arming them to play at the highest level possible. This could be club, university or country. Below is a range of players that have all benefited from the program in different ways

UR7s has supported his entire young rugby career and help with his decisions as he heads off to University. He has spent over five years in the Academy and is a real credit to himself and his family on and of the field.
“I enjoyed being part of UR7s as it has given me an insight into high level 7s and what’s it like to be a rugby 7s player at the highest level. Excellent coaching and I have had the chance to meet and be coached by England, Wales, GB and French internationals!”
